WOW!! You never know what a child will do!!
My thoughts were "are you serious!", "please be joking!", "probably Becca pretending just to make Brooke mad, I hope!". All were wrong!! Becca (nearly 5) had gotten out of bed, taken off her pants and panties, squatted behind the chair in their room and peed on the floor!!!
Her explanation was "I didn't want to get in trouble and I couldn't hold it." (Now, for the record, potty trips (although annoying after the second or third time) NEVER call for punishment for exactly this reason -- so why she decided last night would be different .....). So instead of having a long chat or a yell session I gave her a rag and made her clean it up and then used my trusty (and well-used) SpotBot to clean the carpet.
After all was said and done and my sweet girls were finally asleep, I laughed -- tired but still funny!! Have a great day!!
Just to see...
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done this year.
4. You have no clue what it is going to be, poetry, clothes, paper goods, or a little invention of my own. I may bake something and mail it you . Who knows? Not you that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
Here's the catch, if you choose to do this. You must post this on your blog and be ready to make something for five people too. This will be fun! When you receive the fabulous item I make you, you must post a picture of it on your blog.

Scary day, but better now
The ultrasound was very fun, the baby was doing somersaults, yawning (or at least opening her mouth wide), kicking, punching and very healthy!!! So then why the scary day? Yesterday I woke up to a pretty strong contraction. Braxton Hicks, I'm sure. Then within a few minutes there was another and then another. Since my history of pre-term labor I decided to play it safe, drink lots of water and stay in bed. The contractions never got closer or more regular but they didn't stop until late in the evening -- Doesn't sound like much on paper but at the time I was terrified. The good news is that they did pretty much stop by late last night and I am up and about with minor (almost unnoticeable) tightening today. WHEW!!!

Discovery Gateway & Good News!!
First, my mom took the girls to Discovery Gateway on Saturday, it was a lot of fun!!! Too bad naps were needed and Nate had to run off and work or we would have stayed longer.
The next place they went was to the grocery store where they could shop and get what they wanted and check-out just like a real store!! (Unlike a real store, when you are done you have to put everything back)

I hosted a Modbe party last night, such cute clothes and you can get 30% off everything!!! Another 10% off if you buy 3 or more items. I am going to keep my party open until Monday Nov. 17 so if anyone would like to order anything -- please call me, I have a catalogue. Or visit the website www.modbeclothing.com/brittany and use coupon code MSHM69DF for the 30% off and party #815. The cloths are soooo nice and make really great Christmas Presents ;-)
Halloween is over!! My little Repunzel and pink poodle were so cute!!
We had a Halloween party and went trick-or-treating with Gramma B and the McConkies in their neighborhood in Bountiful. It was such a nice warm night, I was so greatful for the warm night (a stark contrast to the freezing weather last year) -- then it began to rain. But the girls had a great time and got way more candy than is good for them. The weekend before the girls got together with Gramma Nelle and their Adams cousines for a fun Halloween party.
Going backwards in time, like I said it's been a while since I posted, we enjoyed a "Witches Night Out" at Gardiner Village. We rode ponies and just looked at all the shops and different witches. Here are some of the pics.
And one more outing worth mentioning. We went to Snowbird just before the snow stuck and got to ride the tram for the price of donating some food to the food bank. The girls loved it and would have ridden the tram all day if we had let them!
That's all for now -- I will post sooner next time!!
